Kotohikihama Singing Sand Culture Hall
【Description】
This culture hall is dedicated to the singing sand. At this educational facility, the singing sand serves as a way for visitors to consider humanity's connection with nature and how to conserve the ocean's environment. The sand outside does not sing when the rain makes it wet, but in the Culture Hall you can hear it anytime. There is also some unusual equipment for experiencing the singing sand in a way you simply can't at the beach. In addition, there are photo panels about the micromollusks and seaside plants that inhabit Kotohiki Beach.
