Copying sutras at Myoho-ji Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the Senshu region
With a history of roughly 700 years, Myoho-ji Temple (also called Sakai Nijohan or Sakai Two-and-a-Half Avenues) is one of the oldest Buddhist temples still standing in the Senshu region. Why not get a taste of Japanese spiritual culture and try your hand at copying sutras here? Participants will spend their time calming the spirit by touring the temple, listening to the chief priest or his deputy, and copying sutras.
