Going out in a yukata to get a taste of the culture of Japanese clothing
Having been in business for 140 years, Kawajyu Kimono Shop is a long-established shop. Staff from Kawajyu will introduce participants to traditional Japanese clothes, helping them to put on a yukata so that they can wander around Sakai in style for the rest of the day. Visitors will see what it's like to wear an authentic yukata as they go out to eat and explore Sakai, a city deeply rooted in traditional Japanese culture like the tea ceremony and Japanese confections.
