Ticket Set/Tea Museum Tickets & Grinding Matcha Experience

[Activity program for Uji and Uji-cha teas & Chazuna Museum discount set tickets] 4 min. walk from Uji Station in Kyoto. A new landmark within the Historical Park of Tea and Uji Town, Chazuna is a park facility established in Uji in 2021 to serve as a tea museum and Uji-cha tea activity venue. This is a tourist spot that includes a museum full of exhibits on Uji-cha tea and the history and culture of Uji, as well as tea-related activity programs that enable visitors to grind and prepare their own genuine Uji matcha green tea. Use a tea grinding mortar to create your own matcha green tea while enjoying the view of the tea fields and Uji scenery right in front of your very eyes. Next, a Japanese tea instructor will guide you on how to prepare your own matcha tea so you can enjoy it right there at the venue. We hope you enjoy experiencing this three-step process to making matcha green tea: grind, prepare, and drink.
