Located on a high ground in Maruyama Park in Kyoto, the restaurant was built around 400 years ago as a branch temple of Anyo-ji Temple and has remained in business as a traditional Japanese-style restaurant for around 170 years. The 35,500 sq. ft. property is associated with the famous Oda clan and has a room with a stage that can hold almost 100 people, a room with a terrace that offers a panoramic view of the city of Kyoto, and a detached tea house that has been visited by famous writers and artists.
