Taiji Whale Museum

A facility that combines museum-like elements showcasing the history, culture, and ecological data of whaling with aquarium-like elements displaying live marine animals. It holds whale and dolphin shows, which are rare in Japan. There are also hands-on events such as feeding activities and kayak adventures (for a fee), providing opportunities to learn about whales through all five senses. The Marinarium marine aquarium features a tunnel tank where dolphins and whales can be observed from various angles.
