~Touring historical sites and traces of old lifestyles~ trekking tour

A tour trek through the massive stone fissures of Onigaiwaya. Onigaiwaya (elevation 450m) is registered among the mountains of Japan, and those who climb the rocky outcropping to summit the mountain are greeted by a stunning panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean out to the horizon. There are multiple giant boulders along the way and atop the mountain with fissures large enough for a person to pass through, as well as a number of fascinating historical sights and vistas including stone dolmen that hint at megalith culture, caves beneath the layers of rock and even traces of legends of man-eating baboons. The country roads of the area pass through scenery that retains the marks of history alongside the wilderness, such as the remains of charcoal kilns that suggest how people used to live. Guides will detail the sights as you pass through.
