Enjoy the nature of Kasagi, Kyoto with a canoe and specialty coffee!

This experience program was developed in collaboration between Kasagi, Kyoto businesses Fujita Canoe (a canoing school) and Doors Coffee Roastery, and focuses on enjoying nature to the fullest. It is a fun time even for those with no canoe experience, and consists of lessons on canoes that offer a break from everyday life with a beautiful view from the water. The experience is a way for groups and individuals alike to travel the Kizu River area around Kasagi, with an experienced guide to explain basic land and water handling and eliminate worries. Start with about two hours of canoe experience over the morning, then enjoy a meal out in nature, such as a bacon-stacked sandwich from Doors. After eating, participants brew specialty coffee from all over the world to their own tastes and enjoy a relaxing cup under the open sky.
