Osaka B&S Program

University students and international students studying in Osaka act as guides for educational tour groups from Japan and abroad that visit Osaka for education trips in a Brothers & Sisters program. This is a new experiential educational travel program that introduces the charms of Osaka via visits tourist spots and towns such as Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, and Sakai. Foreign students acting as guides allows participants to enjoy sightseeing and tours while experiencing an international exchange by talking about your home country and studying abroad. One university student or international student studying in Osaka will act as a guide for every 6 to 7 junior high and high school students. The guides will act as a Brother or Sister and take the younger students to explore the charms of Osaka on public transport. Example Itinerary: Osaka City tours are designed by choosing two out of eight possible itineraries. Osaka-jo Itinerary A: Tanimachi 4-chome > Osaka Museum of History > Naniwa Palace Ruins > Osaka Castle; Dotonburi Itinerary B: Nipponbashi > Dotonbori > Tombori River Cruise > Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street; Tenjinbashi-suji Itinerary C: Tenjinbashi-suji 6-chome > Osaka Living Museum > Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street > Osaka Tenmangu Shrine; Shin-Sekai Itinerary D: Ebisucho > Shinsekai Market > Tsutenkaku > Janjan Yokocho; Kuromon Market Itinerary E: Nipponbashi > Kuromon Market > Nipponbashi Denden Town > Namba Parks; Ura-Namba Itinerary F: Namba > Doguya-suji Shopping Street > Hozen-ji Yokocho > Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street; Kita Itinerary G: Umeda > Grand Front > Lucua > Chayamachi; Sakai Itinerary H: Mikunigaoka > Mozu Tumulus Visitor Center > Nintoku Emperor Mausoleum Place of Worship > Sakai City Museum > Daisen Park > Mozu Station
