Shigaraki Ware Experience: Make pottery at your own pace (with Asamiya tea and handmade gelato)
Enjoy making pottery at your own pace at Shigaraki, the pottery village. Have fun freely making vases, ornaments and other works. If you create a vase, firing glass into the bottom is also available as an option (separate fees apply). Includes the cost of firing 1 work. Delivery will be arranged for a later date (completion in about 2 months), and shipping will be charged separately. After the experience, sit back at the cafe corner with a cup of Asamiya tea made in Shigaraki and handmade gelato directly from a farm in Higashiomi City in Shiga Prefecture. Shipping for the work is usually only available within Japan (separate shipping fees apply). However, contact us in advance to have your work shipped overseas. Shipping fees vary depending on the destination. So, we will look it up (overseas shipping is likely around 10,000 yen or more). Only cash is accepted for payment.
