Manpuku-ji Temple is the headquarters of the Obaku school of Buddhism, and was built in 1661 by the Chinese high priest Ingen Zenji. It is famous for its Chinese-style architecture. Visitors to the temple can try out Fucha, a type of vegetarian Buddhist cuisine from China (separate fees apply; please reserve).
