Experience an outdoor sauna at a century-old farmhouse in a remote village

Last update

This page provides official travel information about Experience an outdoor sauna at a century-old farmhouse in a remote village and nearby attractions in the Kansai region of Japan.

This is an exclusive outdoor sauna facility limited to just three groups per day. It features an authentic wood-burning sauna housed in a renovated traditional thatched-roof farmhouse, set amidst a landscape that evokes the nostalgic scenery of rural Japan. After enjoying the sauna’s gentle, deep warmth, you can cool off in the river right in front of the facility. It offers a relaxing experience where you can enjoy the fresh air while gazing out at the village scenery. As the facility is reserved entirely for your group, you can enjoy a private space shared only with your friends or family. Meals can also be arranged around the irori (traditional sunken hearth) within the facility upon request.
